This book is a reprinting of the author's works first published in 1960 to 1963 – Quest in Paradise, Zoo Quest to Madagasca and Quest Under Capricorn – his and his cameraman's journeys to Madagascar, the top end of Australia and Papua New Guinea and Pacific islands. Not only for the natural history and wildlife but the way of life of the indigenous people, in some cases whose traditions had never been seen by the British public before at that time.
